Northside Luminary Light Up!
The Old Highland Neighborhood Association, St Jane House and Wintercraft are teaming up to host the first ever Northside Luminary Light Up! This free public event will take place the evening of Friday, Feb. 23, 2024 in the Old Highland Peace Garden located at 18th and Emerson Avenues North. A special ice luminary class will be held at the St Jane House on Saturday, Feb. 10 for those who wish to learn the basics of creating ice luminaries and help bring this event to life!

Come enjoy beautiful ice luminaries created by Northsiders and others for this first of what we hope will become an annual winter tradition for our community.
Hot chocolate and light snacks will be served from 6pm - 8pm.
This event is free and open to the public. If you plan to come, please sign up and we will keep you apprised of any updates.
Walk ups are welcome, too!

Join us for this special opportunity for those who want to participate in bringing the Northside Luminary Light Up! to life. Come and learn how to make several kinds of ice luminaries and leave with materials to make your own. For those who can stay, after the class we will discuss the event and walk to the nearby garden for a site visit.
Ice Luminary Class: 9am - 11am
Optional planning meeting and site visit: 11am - 12pm
You may also register to join the planning meeting without attending the class.

Space is limited for class. Priority will be given to Northsiders.
