Join us for our first ever “Baking with Jane” event, featuring Scandinavian cardamom buns--and support the good work of the St Jane House at the same time!
Cardamom is a favorite Scandinavian spice. Here’s a chance to use cardamom in a variety of ways. We’ll make cardamom dough together, then instructors Brennan and Bryce Johnson will help you shape them to make a variety of goodies: traditional buns, bread, and sweet rolls. We will enjoy the fruits of our labor together, and each person will leave with dough to make their own sweet rolls at home.
Come enjoy Scandinavian inspired hospitality beginning at 8:30 AM. The class will start at 9:00 AM.
About the instructors:
Brennan Johnson is an itinerant baking and cooking teacher. His travels have taken him to France, Mexico, South America and most recently Japan. Prior to that he operated The Walnut Schoolhouse, a one-room baking school in the Blue Ridge Mountains of…
